Alexis Ann Proklevich Thornhill 68 of Justice Addition, WV was born May 1, 1951 at Logan, WV a daughter of the late Alexander and Myrtle Ina Joyce Wells Proklevich. She departed this life on Wednesday, March 18, 2020 at Logan Regional Medical Center at Logan, WV.

Ann was a retired School Teacher and member of the Nighbert Memorial United Methodist Church in Logan. She graduated from Logan High School and Marshall University, earning her master's degree in Education. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Morris Allen 'Mousie' Thornhill and her grandparents; Owen and Myrtle Wells and Bertha and Mike Proklevich.

Her survivors include her sisters, Selbia Sue and Alisa Kim Proklevich both of Switzer, her nephew Alex Perry of Justice Addition, great nieces, Alexis Marie Perry and Allison Leigh Perry of Madison, WV, closest friends; Jay Anna Ellis, Debbie Shell, and Fran Duty, her very close cousins; Barbara Fitch, Sara Fitch, Jaylen Gillman, and Alexus "Lexi' Gillman, her step-children and their families; Wally (Martha Ferrell) Thornhill and their children Sidney (Justin) Brown, Brent (Katie) Thornhill, Nathan Thornhill, and grandchildren Karoline and Isla Brown, and Tate Thornhill, Eddie (Linda) Thornhill and their children Melissa and Stephanie (J.C.) Spears, Sharon Lowe and her daughter Angie (deceased) and grandchildren Brandon and Tyler Lowe, Jeff (Angie) Thornhill and children Jessica and Scott (both deceased), and Robbie (Shannon) Thornhill and their children Rylee and Colin Thornhill, and several other cousins, aunts, uncles, and family members.

A Celebration of Life is being tentatively scheduled for 2:00 PM Saturday, May 2, 2020 at the Nighbert Memorial United Methodist Church with Pastor Mike Smith, officiating.

In lieu of flowers the family ask that memorial contributions be made in Ann's memory to Nighbert memorial United Methodist Church, 301 Cole St. Logan, WV 25601.

The family wishes to thank Dr. Billy Mullen and Dr. Kathy Harvey for their care.
