Kathryn Gail Norris, age 70 of Summit, Arkansas passed away on Friday, June 25, 2021. She was born in New Britain, Connecticut on November 21, 1950 to Malcolm J. Gesner Sr. and Katherine Cornelia Gesner. Gail was married to Robert (Bob) L. Norris Jr. on March 14, 1970.
Gail was employed with Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. from 1991-2015. She was an avid reader, a writer, and a lifelong lover of learning. She was a talented crocheter who loved sharing her gift, through teaching and homemade gifts to family and friends. She and Bob enjoyed gardening, exploring the surrounding areas, and spending time with loved ones.
Gail is survived by her husband, her children: Kathryn Tara Norris, Hannah Mary Norris-Milligan, Emmaline Ruth Smyth, and Mary Frances Norris, her grandchildren: Kathryn Lauren Cowgur, Cassidy Norris Milligan, Logan Marie, husband Drey and their son Barrett Misenheimer, Garion Riley Milligan, Robert Volney Cowgur II, Arlo Francis and Rowan Greer Norris-Rodezno, her niece, Hilda Mary Scire, and her brother, Malcolm James Gesner, Jr.
Services will include a visitation on Wednesday, June 30 from 6-8pm at the Nelson-Berna Funeral Home in Rogers, AR. The funeral will be held on Thursday, July 1st at 10am at Nelson-Berna followed by a graveside service at Pinnacle Memorial Cemetery in Rogers, AR.
