Lloyd Miller Fletcher, age 95, departed this life on August 1, 2013. He was the youngest of six sons born to the late William and Willa Fletcher on July 6, 1918 in Yazoo City, Mississippi.

Lloyd attended Tougaloo College, Tougaloo Mississippi and was drafted to serve as a Second Lieutenant during World War II. He was a career officer during which time he was stationed in England, Germany, Turkey, Hawaii and other bases throughout the United States. He retired from the United States Air Force as a Major.

Lloyd leaves to cherish his memory his daughter, Linda Cheryl; son-in-law, Ditrell Packer; granddaughters, Nicole and Tomishia Brown; great grandchildren, Paris, Mylan, Paige and Alexia; sisters-in-law, Helen Sherrod (Thomas), Antoinette DaCruz (Frank), Marcia Riley and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Althea Fletcher; his parents; brothers Milton (Hattie), Charles (Euralia), Willie, Rolla (Lestine) and Thomas.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, August 10, 2013, at 10:00 am at Baker-Isaac Funeral Home Chapel, 985 Stratford Avenue, Bridgeport, CT 06607. Calling hours will be held from 9:00 am until 10:00 am. Interment at Mountain Grove Cemetery, Harvester Road, Easton, CT. www.bakerfuneralservices.com
