Michael was born in Pulaski County, Kentucky on January 11th, 1954, son of the late Leeta Ann Ashbrook Henderson and Clarence Henderson. He was the former owner of Henderson Signs and in his later years, employed by the Don Franklin Family of Dealerships.
Michael was survived by two sons Joshua (and Beth) Henderson of Somerset, Kentucky and Jesse (and Lisa) Henderson of Lexington, Kentucky; the mother of his children, Joy Hatfield Henderson; four grandchildren, Kailyn, Kyndal, Bailee, and Bryan; his beloved cat, Cricket; and a host of other family and friends who mourn his passing.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Leeta Ann Henderson, who departed this life on December 18th, 2018 and Clarence Henderson, who departed this life on April 4th, 1999.
A celebration of life service took place on Monday, June 28th, 2021 at 5 o'clock at the Todd Cemetery at the end of Todd Road in Nancy, Kentucky.
The family has chosen cremation as final disposition with a private scattering of Michael's ashes following the memorial in the Todd Cemetery.
The Southern Oaks Funeral Home in Somerset, Kentucky was in charge of the arrangements for Michael.
