1895 Iowa Census: Ferna F. Herinton, 1, born Clay Co., IA, was living with her parents, Eli B. Herinton (sic), 28, born IL, and Mirtle (sic) B. Herinton, 21, born Butler Co., IA. Her father was a merchant. They were Friends.

1900 Census, Iowa School for the Deaf, Lewis Twp., Pottawattamie Co., IA: Fannie Herrinton, 7, born May 1893 in IA, was a pupil. She was listed as only deaf.

1905 Iowa Census, Greenville, Gillette Grove Twp, IA: Fern Herrinton, 10, born IA. She attended school.

1910 Census, Gillett Grove Twp., Clay Co., IA: Fern Herinton (sic), 16, born IA, was living with her parents, E.B. Herinton, 43, born IL, and Myrtle Herinton, 34, born IA, and her younger brothers, Keith Herinton, 9, born IA; Stewart Herinton, 7, born IA; and her widowed paternal grandmother Sylvania Herington, 70, born NY. Fern attended school. Her father was a general store merchant.

1916, Aug 8: WRIGHT — HERRINTON
Announcement is made of the marriage of Miss Fern Herrinton, Iowa City, to Archibald Wright, junior. (Mr. Wright met Miss Herrinton at Gauldette college, Wasington, of which college he is a graduate.) The ceremony was performed by Rev. Mr. Salvner in Minneapolis, on Friday. The bride was gowned in white gabardine traveling suit and was unattended. Mr. and Mrs. Wright arrived in Winnipeg yesterday, and will reside for the present with Mr. Wright's parents, 236 Elm street. They will be home after September 1st.

Peacefully on Saturday, September 1, 1990 in her 98th year. Beloved wife of the late Archibald Wright. Dear mother of Barbara and Archie. A private family service was held at Hulse, Playfair and McGarry, with interment at Pinecrest Cemetery. A gentle, loving spirit laid to rest.
