Obituary for Mr. Thomas Stone
On Saturday, February 27, 2021, Mr. Thomas Stone, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin and friend passed away peacefully at JR Hawkins Nursing home after a temporary stay for rehabilitation from Covid 19.
Born on January 09, 1947 to the late George and Mary Stone, Thomas was the baby boy of 10 children.
Thomas affectionately known as "Stone" or "Uncle T" was loved by so many. His kind, humble, peaceful and approacha-ble character defines who he was as a person, and that infec-tious smile will always be in our hearts. He was also a dedi-cated employee with Charles Dolittle Logging for many years,
Thomas is preceded by death, his loving wife Betty Stone. He is survived by his Sister Eloise Coleman of Blair SC and his children Cassandra Stone Hardimon (Edmund) of Marietta, GA, Robert Stone of Ridgeway SC , Rodney Stone (Angela) of Columbia SC, Tina Peake (Timothy) of Union SC, and Selenia Jones (James) of Spartanburg; nine grandchildren, Irish Peake, Da'Juan Peak, Bryant Jones, Rajaa Hardimon, Tyriq Hardimon, Telisha Stone, Tiana Stone, Torian Stone, and Kylan Stone; one great granddaughter, Keyonni Griffin and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends that will miss him dearly.
Siblings preceded by death are; George Stone, Jr. Willie Mae Pearson, Emma Robinson, Annie Mae Feaster, James Stone, Robert Lee Stone, Lillie Ruth Patterson,and Sammie Stone
Visitation will be from 2:30 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. on Monday, March 1. 2021 at Divine Mortuary.
Graveside Services will be held on Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. at Sunset Memorial Garden, 387 State RoadS-44-384 #59 Union, SC.
