Before his retirement in 1986, he was a welder for 15 years with Charles F. Gunyon of Harrison. He also had worked as a printer pressman for American Can Co. of Jersey City. For the past four years, he worked part-time as a security receptionist for Ciba Consumer Pharmaceuticals in Woodbridge.
He was a communicant at St. James R.C. Church in Woodbridge.
A brother, Frank, died in 1992.
Surviving are his wife, Florence (nee Aloi) Calandriello; three daughters, Mary, Angela and Janet; two brothers, Joseph and John; and two grandchildren.
