Phyllis Iret Davis was born February 9,1960, in Chicago, Illinois to Josephine and Nathan Hayes. Phyllis attended Horace Mann Elementary School. Followed by attending South Shore High School, graduating class of 1978. While attending high school Phyllis becam a Licensed Practical Nurse, an oustanding accomplishment leading to her attndance at Olive Harvey College where she became a Registered Nurse. Phyllis then began a 40-year career of giving; taking care of countless patients. She spent twenty of those wonderful years here, in Topeka, Kanas, serving her community and raising a beautiful family.
While attending college, Phyllis was blessed to meet another side of her family. On August 18, 1990, Phyllis married. They raised three sons.
