Mr. Arthur Eugene Stewart, age 67, a native and resident of Bay Minette, Alabama died Monday, Novmber 5, 2007 at North Baldwin Infirmary in Bay Minette. He was a retired educator with the Baldwin County School System and was currently employed seventeen years with Crosby Lumber Company. Mr. Stewart was a member and Past Master of Bay Minette Masonic Lodge #498, F&AM.
He is survived by: His Wife: Kathryn (Finney) Stewart, Bay Minette, AL., 3 Children: Tracy Stewart (Kevin) Boutwell, Bay Minette, AL., Michael Eugene (Angela) Stewart, Spanish Fort, AL., Todd Finney (Carla) Stewart, Bay Minette, AL, 4 Grandsons: Mason Ray Boutwell, Adam Stewart Boutwell, Thomas Finney Stewart and Cooper Douglas Stewart. His Mother: Adele (Earl) Stabler, Walnut Hill, FL., His Brother: James Jerry (Carol) Stewart, Bay Minette, AL., 1 Sister: Betty Elaine Stewart (Mike) Bray, Bay Minette, AL., 2 Brothers-in-law: Walter B. (Betty) Finney, Seymour, MO. and Norman W. (Nancy) Finney, Gallatin, TN. Several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Shirley Stewart Quinley and his father, Arthur Stewart.
The funeral service will be held Thursday, November 8, 2007 at 3:00 p.m. at the New Life Baptist Church with Reverend Otis Thames officiating. Interment will follow at New Life Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, November 7, 2007 from 6:00 p.m. util 9:00 p.m. at Norris Funeral Home.
Active pallbearers will be Wilson Palmer. James Glasgow, Jackie Glasgow, Dewayne Chastang, Arnold Thomaston, Ronald Richerson and John Emmons.
