Jeanette Rose Johnson (Woods) of Kuna, Idaho passed away unexpectedly at home on Tuesday, 22 June 2021. She is survived by five children: Laura (Scott) Myers of Kuna, Idaho, Thomas (Angel) Johnson of Kuna, Idaho, Nancy (Edward) Barberis of Troy, Michigan, Richard (Christine) Johnson of Boise, Idaho, George (Sharla) Johnson of Kuna, Idaho; 20 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.

Jeanette was a devoted wife and mother and supported her husband Wilford through his career as an Air Force Officer. She single handedly managed the family during her husband's many deployments to Southeast Asia. Jeanette had a keen interest in the lives of her children and grandchildren and never missed a birthday. She embroidered quilts for all her grandchildren and great- grandchildren. Jeanette enjoyed a family reunion every Sunday at her home and ensured there was plenty of ice cream, cookies, and brownies for all. She loved gardening and later in life had a beautiful collection of rose bushes in her yard. She will be missed by all who were privileged to know her.

Jeanette loved her family, and they were the priority of her life. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many church callings. She and Will served as missionaries for the Church in 2000 in the Arkansas Little Rock Mission. Jeanette was preceded in death by her parents Marion and Stella Woods; her husband Wilford; and her youngest daughter Caroline.

Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, 29 June 2021 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints located at 224 E. Avalon St in Kuna, Idaho. A graveside service will follow at 3:00 PM at the Idaho State Veterans Cemetery, 10100 Horseshoe Bend Road in Boise, Idaho.
