Died at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 9, at the Sherwood Nursing Home. He was 83, a native of Newborn [sic Newbern], Ala., a resident of McComb, Miss. for 56 years, and of Baton Rouge for the past eight years. He was a retired conductor of the Illinois Central Railroad. Body to be at Catchings Funeral Home, McComb, Miss. with visiting from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday and after 8 a.m. Monday. Religious services at the funeral home at 11 a.m. Monday, conducted by Rev. Ed DeWeese. Burial in Hollywood Cemetery, McComb, Miss.

He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. L. P. Warnack, Merrillville, Ind., and Miss Edith Willingham, Baton Rouge; four sisters, Mrs. Frances Jensen and Mrs. Marguerite Trahler, both of Little Rock, Ark.; Mrs. Mae White, Baton Rouge, and Mrs. DeLaris Kramer, San Diego, Calif.; and one brother, William D. Willingham, McGehee, Ark.

He was a member of the Centenary Methodist Church, McComb, Miss., McComb City Lodge No. 382 F. and A.M., Order of the Eastern Star Queen Esther Chapter No. 4, and honorary stewart of Centenary Methodist Church.
