BROGAN ORVILLE C.82, passed away on September 8, 2001 at The Life Care Center in Reno. Born on November 29, 1918 in Vail, Iowa to (father) James Brogan and (mother) Margaret Giblin. Mr. Brogan owned the donut shop in Gourmet House at Fairway Park Shopping Center in Hayward, Ca. Before that, he worked as a stationary engineer with the city and county of San Francisco. He enjoyed collecting coins, fishing and writing stories. He lived in Hayward, CA for 23 years before moving to Carson City. He served as a marine at Iowa Jima in World War II. He is survived by Sons - Danny Brogan (Livermore, CA) Curtis Brogan (Carson City) James Brogan (Richmond, CA) Daughters - Janice Wimer (Carson City, NV) Ronda Smith (Castro Valley, CA) Lynette Hunt (Fremont, CA) Denise Brogan-Whitford (Vallejo, CA) Noreen Faircloth (Lake Tahoe, CA) 16 Grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his wife Pearl Brogan. Visitation Today, September 14, 2001 from 5-8 P.M at Chapel of the Chimes in Hayward, CA. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, September 15, 2001 at 1:30 pm. at Chapel of the Chimes in Hayward, CA. Burial at Chapel of the Chimes Cemetery in Hayward, CA.
