Roger Dural Murray, 55 of Star City, passed away Thursday, June 24, 2021 at CHI St. Vincent in Sherwood.

He was born July 24, 1965 in Brawley, CA to James Dural Murray and the late Mary Elizabeth Jane Thrasher Murray.

Roger was a Corporal for Arkansas Department of Corrections, working as a truck driver and in the warehouse. Roger loved fishing, hunting, boating and spending time with his family.

Besides his mother, he is preceded in death by his brother, James Murray.

Survivors include his wife, Angela Murray; father, James Dural Murray, both of Star City; 3 daughters, Melissa (David Quillen) Wolfe of Monticello, LaGenea Bailey and Starlet (Michael) Campbell, both of Star City; sister, Mary May (Michael) Murray of Pine Bluff; 14 grandchildren, Christian, Gauge, Hunter, Dakota, Casey, Paige, Jason, Tristian, Robby, Hayden, Kayla, Zackery, Zane and Timothy; and 2 great-grandchildren, Hayden and Rilyen.

Funeral services are 11:00AM Monday, June 28, 2021 at Griffin Funeral Service Chapel.

Visitation is 6:00-8:00PM Sunday, June 27, 2021 at the funeral home.

Burial at Greenmount Cemetery near Star City.

Pallbearers are grandsons, Daniel McGough, Steven McGough and Jeff Humphrey.
