Born November 27, 1929 in Newmarket, he was the son of Joseph and Ethel (Wickstead) Hood.
He was predeceased by his brothers Raymond Hood, George Hood and Thomas Hood, and his sister Marion Stilson.
Survivors include 2 sisters, Ruth St. Pierre and her husband Norman of Newmarket and Shirley Harvey and her husband John of Exeter; several nieces and nephews.
