Born in Newnan, Georgia on June 29, 1943, Lynda was the daughter of the late John D. and Sara Jo Reynolds.
She attended Warner Robins High School until she was severely injured in an automobile accident in tenth grade. Lynda persevered, however, and went on to earn her GED.
Through the years, she worked in many different vocations including: the Naval Ordnance Plant, Shoney's, Holiday Inn, Standard American, Robins Telephone and Cable Company, Cox Cable, Oldham's, HEA Credit Union, and finally, for the Centerville Water Department, from where she retired.
She is survived by her loving husband, James "Hoyt" Sanders; children, Tia "Baige" Childree, Laurie Carol Nolan and James Alan "Jim" Sanders; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brothers, Johnny Reynolds (Nancy) and Dan Reynolds (Laurie); sister, Carol Jordan; sisters-in-law, Sue Ellen Odom (Glen) and Vivian Ellington; and several nieces and nephews.
Lynda's family will receive friends at McCullough Funeral Home on Sunday, June 27, 2021, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 28, 2021, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. She will be laid to rest in Magnolia Park Mausoleum following the service.
