Frances Allen Thompson passed away Friday, June 25, 2021, at the age of 74. She was born in Batesville on June 9, 1947, to Abe and Clovia (Vickers) Allen.



Frances had an outgoing fun-loving personality and loved being around other people, especially her grandkids. She was always there to support them for the different sporting events they participated in. She was a master gardener that enjoyed horseback riding, traveling, antiques, making floral decorations, and cooking for her family. Frances was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend whose memory will forever be cherished by those that loved her.



She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Woody Thompson; her daughter, Tracie Skidmore (Tony); her brother, Frankie Allen; her sister from another mister, Toy Siler; and her three grandchildren, Raigan Skidmore, Cade Skidmore, and Preston Thompson. She is preceded in death by her parents; and her son, Woody Alan Thompson.



Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Preston Thompson, Cade Skidmore, Raigan Skidmore, Quincy Simmons, Bill Milligan, and Gene Cook.



The family would like to thank the staff at Arkansas Hospice as well as the nurses and doctors at White River Medical Center for taking such good care of Frances. They would also like to give thanks to the many loving friends that have helped them through this process.



A graveside service will be held Monday, June 28, 2021, at Egner Cemetery in Salado, AR. at 2 PM.
