LAKE GEORGE - Charles H. DeGrush, 82, of Hendricks Street, died (Jan. 13, 1981) in Hallmark Nursing Centre, Glens Falls, after a long illness. Mr. DeGrush was born Dec. 21, 1898, in Lake George, the son of James F. and Margaret (Henry) DeGrush. He was a graduate of Oneonta State Teachers College. During World War I, he taught in several rural Adirondack schools. He taught in the Lake George Central School system for 40 years. Following his retirement in 1962, Mr. DeGrush devoted his time to painting Adirondack scenes. He was a well-known area artist. Survivors include several nieces and nephews.
