Juanita "Eadie" Hopkins, 94 of Hickory passed away on Thursday, June 24, 2021 at her home surrounded by her family. Born on June 5, 1927 in Wetzel County, WV, she was the daughter of the late George and Mary Angeline Six Himelrick, and was the youngest of 5 daughters.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, William Hopkins and a daughter, Judy Price.
Survivors include 2 daughters, Sharon Duncan and husband Larry, Linda Farris and husband, Gary; 7 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at Catawba Funeral Home on Monday, June 28, 2021 at 2:00 pm with Percil Watkins officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm with burial to follow at Catawba Memorial Park.
