Dale is a classmate of mine as a class of 1966 graduate of The Citadel. He had a bad type of liver cancer.

Obituary:
Dale A. Green, of Mount Pleasant, SC, took his place on the Lord's front porch Saturday, July 3, 2021.
Dale was born April 15, 1944 in Decatur, IL. Dale graduated from Andrew Jackson High School in Jacksonville, FL in 1962. He then continued to the Citadel, where he graduated in 1966. From there, Dale joined the U.S. Air Force, where he would earn his Master's degree and enjoy a successful career for 26 years as a fighter pilot. Dale then worked for Lockheed Martin until his retirement in 2011. He and his wife enjoyed filling their bucket list of travels and adventures.
Dale is survived by his wife, Sandy, five children, eleven grandchildren, and sisters, Sharon and Debbie.
The viewing is scheduled for Friday, July 9, 2021 at McAlister-Smith Funeral & Cremation, 1520 Rifle Range Rd., Mt. Pleasant, SC 29464, from 4-6:00PM.
There is a memorial service scheduled for Saturday July 10, 2021 at All Saints Lutheran Church, 2107 N. Hwy. 17, Mt. Pleasant, SC 29466, at 11:00AM. Dale will be laid to rest with full military honors in Arlington National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please send memorials to All Saints Lutheran Church denoted for Tunnel2Towers-Dale Green.
