A visitation will be on Thursday, November 30, 2017 at the Chapel of Memories in Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery from 4pm till service time at 6pm. Inurnment will be at a later date.
Judy was born and raised in Paris, Illinois on August 19, 1934 and died at the age of 83 years old.
She met her high school sweetheart, Don, in 1951 and married on May 14, 1955. She lived in multiple states but called Cedar Rapids/Amana her home over the past 37 years.
She worked for many years in various Amana wineries.
She enjoyed doll collecting, playing games with family, spending time with family, enjoying her grandchildren, and watching golf. Judy loved game shows and wintering in south Texas with family and friends.
Judy is preceded in death by her parents Ernie and Helen Cunningham, loving sister Patty Cunningham, and cherished son, Tim Peters.
Judy is survived by her loving husband, four children, six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers please consider donating to the Mercy Medical Center Foundation-Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy and/or Hall-Perrine Cancer Center.
