Shirley Frances Cline, formerly of Hagerstown, Maryland, passed peacefully in Charlottesville, Virginia on Saturday, June 19, 2021.

She was born in Martinsburg, West Virginia on December 25, 1937, the daughter of the late Guy and Sarah (Weisenburg) Swartz. She is survived by her son, Keith Skinner, of Crozet, Virginia, and her two grandchildren, Ben and Kate. In addition, she is survived by her loving sister, Betty Jones of Hagerstown, Maryland. Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur "Chip" Cline, her daughter, Mitzie Skinner, her grandson, Nathaniel, two sisters, Anna Dillow and Clovis Stewart, and a brother, Guy Swartz.

Shirley lived most of her adult life in Martinsburg and the southern Maryland area prior to falling ill in 2016. She was known for her vibrant personality and fun-loving nature. She always left an impression and will be missed by many.
