Word was received here Tues day of the death of Mrs. C. lone McCullough, 67, at Altadena, Cal. Mrs. McCullough, a lifelong resident of Waterloo and Castle Hill died at 8:40 p. m. Monday of carcinoma. She had been in failing health since last October. She was born Cynthia lone Conway, Feb. 5, 1881, the daughter of Hiram and Josephine Felkner Conway at Vinton, la.

She was married to Elias A McCullough in Vinton, Nov. 22, 1839, and made her home in Castle Hill and Waterloo where Mr McCullough was a nurseryman. In 1937 she moved to California.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and one brother.

Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Ruth Kragenbrink, Mrs. Maxine Hendricks, both of Altadena, Mrs. Grave Crooks, Des Moines. la.; Mrs. Herbert Bernard, 443 Cutler street; two sisters, Mrs. Goldie Tuttle, Vinton, and Mrs. Neita Davis, Ataldena. Twelve grandchildren also survive.

Burial will be in Forest Hill cemetery in Glendale, Cal. She was a member of the Open Bible Church in Waterloo.
