Fay was a hard working, dependable and out going individual. She had a great sense of humor and always managed to put a smile on your face. She was truly unforgettable and had one of those big personalities that people were naturally drawn to. These beautiful qualities served Fay well and created friendships that lasted a lifetime.
At age 17, Fay was one of the original employees of the first Waffle House ever opened in September 5, 1955 in Avondale Estates, Georgia. Her longest career and favorite employment was with Waffle House Restaurants. Fay also served as Supervisor at Golden City Hosiery Mills in Villa Rica, Georgia and Personal Care Provider at Cottage Landing in Carrollton, Georgia.
Fay Baker was cremated under the care of Whitley-Garner at Rosehaven in accordance with her wishes. Please join the family by viewing the recorded Memorial Service (provided by Steve Baker & produced by James Paul of Schiller Productions, Carrollton, Georgia).
