Paul Weagley Stouffer was born to Daniel and Anna Susan Stouffer in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania on April 9, 1930. He passed away peacefully at Life Care Center on June 19, 2021.
He served in the U.S. Air Force in Albany, Georgia where he was a Chaplain. He graduated from University of Richman with a Bachelor of Arts in 1956, and graduated from Seminary at Southeastern Baptist Seminary in 1959.
He met his wife Peggy Saturday, in Jamaica on summer missions in the summer of 1954. They were married for 59 years. He was appointed by SBC as an International Missionary to South Brazil where they served for thirty-two years. He was a member at First Baptist Church of Centerville.
He enjoyed spending time with his family and loved ones and will always be remembered by his contagious laughter.
He is survived by three sons – Burt (Christy), Andrew (Charlene) and Carlos (Susan), seven grandchildren, Christopher (Darby), Daniel (Tricia Ann), Camille, Caroline (Jacob), Julianna (Ian), Leandrea (Stephen), and Paulina, ten great grandchildren – Michael, Gideon, Leah, David, Asa, Anna, Owen, Olivia, Jason, and Ali, and one sister Faye Heckman.
He was predeceased by his wife Peggy Stouffer and 11 siblings.
The funeral service will be held on June 20,2021 at 3:00pm at Heritage Church(10300 Mill Hollow Rd, Centerville, TN 37033 Burial will be in Heritage Church Cemetery
