Kimberly K. (Kump) Hurley August 1, 1966 - June 23, 2021
Ms. Kimberly K. (Kump) Hurley, 54, of Mercersburg, PA, passed away Wednesday, June 23, 2021. Born August 1, 1966 in Martinsburg, WV, she was the daughter of Brenda K. (Sencindiver) Webb of Waynesboro, PA and the late Robert A. Kitchen. Kimberly attended Waynesboro Area Senior High School, was employed by National Book Network in Blue Ridge Summit for many years and was currently employed as the manager of McDonald's in McConnellsburg, PA for over 10 years. She will be remembered as a devoted mother who was a very hard worker. She loved to dance and sing and cherished time spent with family. She especially loved to watch movies with her daughters as they were growing up. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her companion, Alex Pettyjohn; five children, Michael T. Snively, Jr. (Megan) of Gettysburg, Tyler A. Snively (Sara) of Chambersburg, Preston K. Snively (Antasia) of Fayetteville, Sidney S. Calhoun (Wayland) of Waynesboro and Alli Jean Calhoun (Jared Myers) of Orrstown; eight grandchildren; one brother, J.R. Kump (Beverly) of Chambersburg; and a host of extended family and friends. In addition to her father, Kimberly was preceded in death one sister, Debra A. Kump. A celebration of her life will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, June 26, 2021 in Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad Street, Waynesboro with Pastor Victor Johnson officiating. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 P.M., Saturday in the funeral home. Private graveside services will be held in Rosedale Cemetery, Martinsburg, WV.
