Thelma Elizabeth Whitfield Baker, 82, of Clover, SC passed away on Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at Wayne T. Patrick Hospice and Community Care.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Thursday, June 24, 2021 at Bratton Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, June 25, 2021 at Bratton Funeral Home with Reverend Roger Huffstetler officiating. Burial will follow at Lakeview Memory Gardens.
Thelma was born on May 29, 1939 in Townville, SC. She was the daughter of the late Joe Whitfield and Hattie Holbrooks Whitfield and the widow of Otis Baker. She was a member of the Pentecostal Princesses in Clover, SC.
Thelma is survived by her son, Richard Baker and his wife Darla, daughter, Patricia Ladd and her husband Robert; grandchildren: Micah Baker (Kamie), Angelikah Baker (Zeke), Lauren Moore (Andrew), Quentin Currence (Lisa); and great grandchildren: Eli Baker, Serenity Hensley, Caleb Baker, Kendrix Lundquist, Ryan Moore, and Mason Moore.
In addition to her parents and husband, Thelma was preceded in death by her sister, Bessie Phillips, and brothers: Jack, June, Fred, and Troy Whitfield.
