Professional Football Player. For seven seasons (1984 to 1990), he played at the cornerback position in the National Football League with the Houston Oilers. Born Lloyd Patrick Allen, he attended Garfield High School in Washington and played collegiate football at Utah State University. Selected by the Houston Oilers during the 4th round of the 1984 NFL Draft, he totaled 106 career regular season games. Along with Cris Dishman, Allen comprised a highly-formidable secondary duo for Houston's defense. In 1986, he produced a career-high 3 interceptions. He was the younger brother of Anthony Allen who was a former NFL wide receiver.
