Born and educated in Albany, she was the daughter of Francis E. and Dorothy (Fox) Dwyer.
Janet was a Comptometer Operator for many years with the D&H Railroad in Albany and she was a Communicant of the Parish of Mater Christi.
Janet was predeceased by her husband John H. Phillips, Jr., son Kevin J. Phillips and her brothers Francis and James Dwyer. She is survived by her children Barbara (Mark) DiPace and Timothy (Bernadette Snyder) Phillips as well as her grandchildren Lauren DiPace Konsul, Christopher and Matthew DiPace, JohnHenry and William Phillips; her sister Joan Malenfant; sisters-in-law Eileene Phillips and Joan Dwyer; several nieces and nephews.
Interment in Calvary Cemetery, Glenmont.
