Angela Marie Massey Dill, 64, of Holcomb, and formerly of Sunflower, passed away Tuesday, June 22, 2021, at her home.
Angie was born February 23, 1957, in Greenville, to James Albert and Erlene Renfro Massey. She was a graduate of Indianola Academy. Angie worked for Sledge Telephone Company in Sunflower in 1993. She was previously a member of Sunflower Baptist Church and currently a member of Holcomb Baptist Church.
Angie was preceded in death by her father, James Albert Massey.
She is survived by her husband of 43 years, James R. "Jimmy" Dill, Jr. of Holcomb; mother, Erlene Massey of Sunflower; two children, Jacob Almos Dill (Lottie) of Holcomb and Jennifer Marie Hollis (Brian) of Quaker City, Ohio; two brothers, Jimmy Massey (Wanda) of Indianola and Curtis Massey (Angela) of Gulf Shores, Alabama; one sister, Samantha Massey Burchfield of Sunflower; and four grandchildren, Ann Marie Hollis, Brian K. Hollis, Jr., Logan C. Hollis, and Tucker J. Dill.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, Friday, June 25, 2021, at Burton Funeral Home in Indianola. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 am with Rev. Elbert McKnight officiating. The burial will be in Indianola City Cemetery. Burton Funeral Home of Indianola has been entrusted with arrangements.
