Jr. (Valerie), Sally Shindell McErlean (Donald), Ruth Shindell MacKay (Doug) and Joseph E. Shindell (Cilla), predeceased by her 10 siblings, survived by nine grandchildren, five greatgrandchildren and a niece, Sarah Sherlock. Funeral Friday 10 a.m. in the First Presbyterian Church of North Arlington. Interment Arlington Cemetery, Kearny. Relatives and friends may call on The Wilfred Armitage & Wiggins Funeral Home, 596 Belgrove Dr., Kearny, on Thursday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.
