LeBelle – Curtis L Young, 36, passed away May 13, 2021. He enjoyed watching his favorite football teams play, Dallas Cowboys and Texans. He liked to go fishing and spending time with his son, he loved his family dearly. Curtis had a great sense of humor and was a free spirit with a traveler's soul, he loved singing and listening to country music. He had friends from Texas to Louisiana and was liked by everyone and will be miss by all who knew him.

Those left behind to cherish his memory is his son; Trevor L. Young of Lumberton, TX, his father; Roger L. Young and stepmom; Terry Parish of Kountze, TX, his mother; Debra K. Nielsen Chambers, sister; Tricia Ortego both of Kinder, LA, brothers; Adam Chambers Jr. and his wife Brandy of DeRidder, LA, Ricky Young of Des Moines, IA, step-brother; Chris Parrish and wife Tonia, step-sister; Chasity Paulsson and husband Barry of Kountz, TX, nieces and nephews; Hailey, Skylar, Brayden and Kathryn and lifelong friend and mother of his son; Jacquelyn Allgood of Lumberton, TX, his fishing & hunting buddy Frank Hammonds, numerous aunts, uncles and friends.

Preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Curtis and Jeanette Young, maternal grandparents, Ward Woodrow Nielsen and Patricia M. Nielsen.

Cremation will be under the direction of Reed Funeral Home.

A memorial service will be held at Grace Community Baptist Church in Fannett, TX on Thursday, June 24, 2021, from 5 PM to 7 PM with Pastor Mike officiating and leading us in prayer at 6 PM.
