Erma W. Stewart, 82, of Wilmington, died Sunday, November 4, 2007, at her residence.

Erma was born August 20, 1925 in Wilmington, NC, daughter of the late William Jessie Willett and Bertha Skipper Willett. Her first husband, J. D. Webster, second husband, Winfred E. Stewart, one sister, and three brothers, preceded her in death.

Mrs. Stewart was a member of Long Leaf Baptist Church for many years. She retired from M.J.B. Manufacturing Company, and was a Worthy Matron of the Golden Rod Chapter #142 of Eastern Star.

She is survived by three children, daughter, Joyce Webster Rich of Wilmington, and two sons, Tim Stewart and wife, Barbara, of Wilmington, and Rodney Stewart and wife, Sheri, of Canton, GA; five grandchildren, Jerry O'Dell, Tiffany Jernigan, and Phillip Stewart, all of Wilmington, and Brady Stewart and Amanda Stewart, both of Canton, GA; a brother, Wilber Willett and wife, Edna, of Wilmington; and a sister-in-law, Shirley Willett of Wilmington.

The family will receive friends from 7pm to 8:30pm Tuesday, November 6, 2007, at Andrews Market Street Chapel.

A funeral service will be 11am Wednesday, November 7, 2007, at Andrews Market Street Chapel with Rev. Eugene Ridley officiating. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
