Ronald B. Perry, age 83, went home to heaven to be reunited with his daughter, Patti, on Monday, June 21, 2021 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on August 17, 1937 in Potsdam, NY, the son of the late Wilfred and Leona Perry. He married Donna Scheffer in Lockport in August of 1959.

Ron was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and brother and cherished the time he spent with family. He worked for the Corning Painted Post School District for many years. Ron was a teacher West High where he began the Plastics Program and served as the golf coach. He moved to East High where he served as assistant principal, retiring in 1998. Ron was active in the community, an avid hunter, loved to play golf, and he was a woodcrafter and turner known for creating bowls.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Donna, son, Brian (Pam) Perry of Hornby, grandchildren, Michael (Jennifer Baker) Perry of Painted Post, Amanda (Jesse) Wilson of Williamson, NY, and Rebecca (James) LaGrange of Painted Post, great grandchildren, Gavin, Abigayle, Brantley, Payton, Tanner, Madilynn-Patricia, Caleb, Colton, and Charlotte, brothers, Peter Perry of Fayetteville, and Paul Perry of Rochester, exchange students, Berenice Tapia, Gloria Mosqueira, Branda Rojo, and Julie Wright. Ron was predeceased by his daughter, Patti Perry.
