Lawrence Lynch Hayes, 83, of South Burlington died early this morning at local hospital. He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Leo O'Brien of South Burlington; five sons, John of Veteran's Hospital, Fort Harrison, Mont., Lawrence of San Pedro, Calif., Thomas of Milton, William of Groton, Conn., and James of Winooski; several grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. The body will remain at the James P. Dower Funeral Home until Saturday morning when the funeral will be held at 9 a..m. at St. John Vianney Church, South Burlington.
