Patricia 'Patti' A. Bishop, 66, passed away peacefully June 17, 2021, in Alexandria, LA. She was born January 23, 1955, in Talladega, AL, the daughter of Edward Bishop and Jean Bishop Mayfield.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward Bishop and Jean Bishop Mayfield, and her sister, Marsha (Bishop) Whaley.
She is survived by her three children: Ciarra Foreman, Aaron Foreman, Morgan Foreman, companion, Ron Foreman (all of Lake Charles, LA), her brother, Edward Bishop (Seattle, WA), and many nieces and nephews.
Patti loved caring for children, and she had much interest in fashion. She worked in cosmetics and clothing retail, and for a local daycare for most of her life. She spent 30 years with her companion and the father of her children, Ron Foreman. Patti enjoyed spending time with her children, shopping, watching her favorite classic shows, cooking for her family, and being a mother to her three children and beloved dog, Annie. She was a loyal member of Trinity Baptist Church.
A service of remembrance will be held 6 p.m. Thursday, June 24 at Trinity Baptist Church in the Chapel, 1800 Country Club Road, Lake Charles, Louisiana
