In profound sorrow we announce the passing of Rayford Strickland, age 65, of Newnan, Georgia on Saturday, December 8, 2018.

Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 15, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church, Reverend L.M. Spear, Eulogist and Reverend Antoine Martin, Pastor.

Ronald Rayford Strickland was born on July 8, 1953 in Newnan, Georgia to Henry (A.C) Strickland and Rose Velma Jones Strickland. He departed this earthly life on Saturday, December 8, 2018.

At an early age he joined the Mt. Sinai Baptist Church.

Rayford matriculated through the Coweta County School System, graduating from Newnan High School in the Class of 1971. After high school he attended Morehouse College.

On January 29, 1976, Rayford married the love of his life, Sandra Harris. To this union two sons were born.

Rayford was the Pastor of Christian World Church International. Rayford was an author of and took pride in his first publication "Demonic Power and Satan's #1 Weapon." He was passionate about his ministry. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.

He was preceded in death by both parents; three brothers, Melvin, Virgil and Gordon Strickland and one sister, Darlene Sumlin.
