She is survived by her daughter Kathleen Stoker (Craig) of Riverton; her son Joseph Reese (Diane) of Salt Lake City; grandchildren Sarah, Dustin (Suzanne) Ryan, Tiffany (Philip), James, and Jennifer and great- grandsons Douglas and Jacob. Louise grew up in Salt Lake City where she graduated from West High School. She was soon off to experience life. Louise loved her early working years as a secretary in New York City. During the years of World War II she worked in the war industries in San Francisco and attended Cal State Berkley. She returned to Salt Lake City, attended and graduated from the University of Utah with a Masters degree in Social Work. Louise married Glen Reese in 1949, and they first lived in Rose Park.
They moved to East Millcreek in 1960 where they raised their family. After Glen's death, Louise worked both as a full-time mom and a full-time social worker for the Salt Lake City School District to support her family. Louise married Elvin Todd in 1976. They continued to reside in East Millcreek until his death. Louise then moved to Legacy house in South Jordan. Louise enjoyed a lifetime of membership in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Graveside Services will be held Wed. November 14th at 10:30 a.m. at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
