"Doris Edith Rogers Adams, age 87 of Marble, passed away on Monday, June 21, 2021.

She was a lifetime resident of Cherokee County and born to the late Homer and Lucy Queen Rogers, Sr. Doris was a homemaker and babysitter. She was a member of the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians and proud of her Cherokee culture. She was also a member of Vengeance Creek Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Margaret Ann Adams; brothers, Kenneth E. Rogers, Glen Rogers, James Rogers, Homer Aster Rogers and William Kyle Rogers; sisters, Leuna Adams and Margie Creasman; and grandson, Bobby Conley, Jr..

Doris is survived by her daughters, Brenda Gail Cook (Joe), Linda Faye Mack (WG) and Kathy Adams; sister, Joyce McColley; four grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; 10 great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A Funeral Service will be held at 4 pm, Friday, June 25, 2021 at Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel in Murphy. Burial will be in Vengeance Creek Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 2 pm – 4 pm, Friday, June 25, 2021 at Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel in Murphy.

Townson-Rose Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements."
