Keith Harlan Hogan,86, of Redfield, passed away at home, June 18, 2021.

He was born near Linden on Nov. 23, 1934, to Harvey and Edith (Massure) Hogan. They moved to the farm near Redfield when he was 11.

He married Bonnie Countryman in July 1962. They spent 58 wonderful years raising 4 children on the farm.

He farmed in the Redfield and Linden areas. Keith raised hogs, cattle, emus, and had aronia berries and assorted row crops.

He loved walking the bike trail with family.

He loved to share his passion and knowledge of farming and cattle with multiple generations.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harvey and Edith Hogan; in-laws, Clifford and Betty Countryman; 2 brothers, Kenneth and Kendall; 2 sisters, Viv and Virginia; son-in-law, Loren Wakefield and grandson, Ryan Wakefield.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, June 24, 2021 at Caldwell Parrish Funeral Home – McCalley Chapel in Adel, with burial at Wiscotta Cemetery near Redfield. Family will greet friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, June 23, 2021 from 5:00-7:00 p.m.
