Barbara Ann James was born Sept 13, 1950 to Sadie Epperson in Osceola, Arkansas, and confessed to her hope in Christ at an early age. Barbara attended Osceola Rosenwald School for grade school and high school. She was a graduate of AM &N Arkansas State College in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, where she became a proud member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority.
Barbara worked as a social worker and helped many children achieve their goals throughout her career. After retiring, Barbara moved to St. Louis, Missouri and left this world to be with the Lord on June 19, 2021.
Barbara leaves behind to mourn her two sisters, Dorothy Rivers and Ann Chester; two cousins, Georgia Jackson and Jennie Lee Watkins; a brother-in-law, Melvin Rivers; and a host of nieces and nephews, and all of their families.
We love and miss you but we know that God loved you even more. Rest in eternal peace with the Father.
