Michael Kreevich

Cecil - Michael T. Kreevich, age 81 of Cecil, passed away on Monday, May 31, 2021. Mike was born on October 16, 1939 to the late Michael A. Kreevich and Ann (Gulick ) Tally in Pana, IL. He started his working life by setting pins in a bowling factory and went on to work the rest of his life as a CNC machinist. Mike's greatest passion was fishing. Throughout his life, Mike owned many fishing boats, the last being "Blue Saber." This went on to become his handle. He was also an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed gardening, flowers, mushroom hunting, bird hunting, and trapping. Mike enjoyed being a stock car driver in his younger years.

Mike is survived by his 3 daughters, Mary Lepscier, Maria Kreevich (Nancy Coffman), and Lorri (Tom) Rosenfeldt Lawton; daughter-in-law, Carolyn Kreevich; grandchildren, Mike Kreevich (AnnMarie Shaffer), Kelly (Jessie) Sell, Kate (Lee) Mikle, Kolia Hischke (Lee Zhuckkahosee), Kyla (Corey) Jones, and Klint Hischke; great-grandchildren, Madyson Mikle, Maizy Mikle, Jase Sell, Remy Sell, and Greyson Jones. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Pat Kreevich; brother, Kenneth Kreevich; sister, Barbara Ann Sarver; great-granddaughter, Rosy Sell; son, Mark Kreevich.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 5, 2021 at Hickory Cemetery at 10 am. Gruetzmacher Funeral Home in Suring is assisting the family with arrangements. Online condolences can be expressed at www.gruetzmacherfuneralhome.com.

The family would like to thank Bonduel and Shawano Emergency Services and the staff and doctors of Shawano and Appleton ThedaCare for the care and compassion offered to Mike and his family during their time of need.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation may be made in Mike's memory for trout stocking to Oconto River Trout Unlimited (PO Box 252, Gillett, WI 54124).
