Carl Bernard Ball, age 87, of Clarkson, passed away, Monday, June 21, 2021, at his residence.

He was born May 12, 1934, in McQuady to the late Ollie and Cova Mattingly Ball. He was the former owner and operator of Smallworld Daycare Center, Ball's General Store and furniture stores. He was a member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Paula Ball and eight brothers and sisters, Frances Mattingly, Margaret Bland, Stanley Ball, Edwina Burch, Betty Reed, Mary Jo Barker, Dennis Ball and Paula Ball.

He is survived by two daughters, Cathy Wallingford and Sherri Ball both of Clarkson; two grandsons, Matthew Milligan of Louisville and Michael Milligan of Iowa; two sisters, Alma Metzen of Indiana and Sue Marshall of Elizabethtown and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral mass will be held at 1 PM, Friday, June 25, 2021, at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church with Rev. Steve Hohman officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Elizabeth Cemetery.
