Obituary of Juanita Garcia
Juanita Garcia, 79, of Duncan, MS passed away at Delta Health Center in Greenville, MS on June 20th, 2021.
Visitation will be held Friday, June 25th, 2021, from 5-8 PM at Ray Funeral Home in Cleveland, MS. Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 26th, 2021, at 11 AM at Our Lady Victories Catholic Church in Cleveland, MS with burial in the Shelby Cemetery in Shelby, MS.
Juanita was born on July 30th, 1941 in Shaw, MS, to the late Vincente and Carmen Garcia. She was a loving mother, sister, and aunt. She loved watching westerns, drinking coffee, being outdoors with her brother Mayo, keeping a tidy house, but mostly she enjoyed being with her babies, Gabby and Mayla.
Juanita is survived by her son Samuel Garcia (Kathy) of Hobbs, NM and loving niece Olivia Garcia of Duncan, MS. Brothers Mayo Garcia of Duncan, MS and Tony Garcia (Trini), of Idabel, OK. Sisters, Elosie Lopez of Cleveland, MS., Rosa Galabiz (Manual) of Duncan, MS, Oralia Ortega of DeQueen, AR, Elvira Pedraza of Etowah, NC, Beatrice Ruiz (Bennie) of Fort Pierce, FL, and Isabel Quellar (Ritchie) of Stanford, Texas.
She also leaves behind two great-nieces, Gabriella and Mayla Garcia of Duncan, MS, granddaughter Altricia Bane of Hornlake, MS, 4 great-granddaughters, and many nieces and nephews.
She is proceeded in death by her parents Vincente and Carmen Luna Garcia, sisters Consuelo Garcia, Emma Ruiz, Linda Garcia-Riojas, brother Paul Garcia.
