Tim grew up in Williamsport and was a graduate of Williamsport High School Class of 1961. He attended the University of Colorado and graduated from East Stroudsburg State College. He taught school and coached football for 10 years. He worked for Reader's Digest school fundraising until he retired in 2005. He enjoyed golf from a young age and he shot his first hole in one in 2015. The last time he played golf was in March 2021 and he shot 79.
He was predeceased by his parents, Thomas E. and Regina (Devine) Hogan. He is survived by his wife, Marceil (Williams) Hogan of Ocala, FL; two children, Shawn Timothy Hogan of Clayton, N.C. and Lynnette (Hogan) Poupard and husband, David of Green Cove Springs, FL; grandchildren, Joy A. Poupard and Grace M. Poupard of Green Cove Springs, FL and Holly (Poupard) Grosdidier and husband, Logan of Middleburg, FL.
Tim had three sisters, Jeanmarie (Hogan) Lichtel and husband Reese, Frances (Hogan) Detamore and husband Michael and Kathleen Hogan. He also had several nieces and nephews.
He was involved in many community organizations. The last several years he enjoyed brightening the day of nursing home patients every week. Tim was a member of Meadowbrook church in Ocala, FL.
