Anthony Cole Carroll, age 17 months, ran into the arms of Jesus on Sunday, June 20, 2021 following a courageous battle with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome.

A Celebration of Life Service will be 2:00PM-Friday, June 25, 2021 at Hickory Grove Advent Christian Church outside Four Oaks, NC. Pastor Keith Zelesky will officiate. Burial will follow in Hills of the Neuse Memory Gardens, Smithfield, NC.

Anthony was born on January 16, 2020 in Little Rock, Arkansas, to his biological parents, Mary and Justin Plonski. On September 28, 2020 he was adopted by Anthony Bryant and Kara Ruth Carroll.

Anthony was happiest at home, surrounded by family, especially his big sister, Ruth whom he loved. He loved tractors, stickers and playing in the water at the beach. He will be remembered for his smile, his easy-going personality and joy for life. In Anthony's short life, he has conquered many uphill battles-from Arkansas to North Carolina to Boston-always with a smile on his face. We mourn now, but we hope in the future without tears. Jesus will return and God will make all things new.

Surviving in addition to his parents include his sister, Ruth Grace Carroll; grandparents, Sandy and Mark Baughman and Bridget and Tony Carroll; great-grandparents, Paul and Doris Niewoehner, Barbara Baughman and Jean Carroll; aunts and uncles, Cade Baughman and wife, Anna and their daughter, Blair; and Trey and Jaime Carroll; God parents, Kelly and Mitch Smith; many loving great aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of many friends.

The family will receive friends 12:00PM-1:45PM, Friday, June 25, 2021 at Hickory Grove Advent Christian Church, 1232 Lassiter Road, Four Oaks, NC 27524, and following the graveside service at the cemetery.

Better is one day in your courts than a thousand elsewhere; I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of the wicked. For the LORD God is a sun and shield; the LORD bestows favor and honor; no good thing does he withhold from those whose walk is blameless. Psalm 84:10-11
