Mr. John Richard Wiley, 81 of Union City, passed away Saturday, June 19, 2021 at Oakview Rehab Center in Calvert City, KY.

Graveside services will be conducted at Obion County Memorial Gardens at 3:00 PM Tuesday, June 22, 2021 with Bro. Paul Adams officiating.

Pallbearers will be Mike Simmons, Jason Cooper, Travis McCloud, Ben Parker, G.G. Hicks and Ryan Storey.

Mr. Wiley was born April 14, 1940 to the late Gilbert and Juanita Wiley. He married Ann Sanders Wiley who preceded him in death. He was a lifetime farmer of Obion County with his grandson Jason Miller. He was of the Baptist faith and loved hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his daughter, Debbie Miller of Union City; three stepsons, Sam Freeman of New Waverly, TX, Mikey Freeman and his wife June of Luka, MS, and Tony Chase of Welches, OR; two grandsons, Jason Miller and his wife Maggie and John Miller and his wife Kristi all of Hendersonville, TN; one nephew, Tim Cagle and his wife Amy of Huron, TN.

In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Wiley was also preceded in death by his sister and brother-in-law, Janie and Bill Cagle, and stepson, Dickie Freeman.
