Misty Nicole Green, 35, of Murphysboro, passed away at 7:50 a.m. Sunday, December 28, 2014, at Memorial Hospital of Carbondale.

Misty was born on November 19, 1979, in Murphysboro, to Michael Ray Hiser and Rebecca (Porter) Hiser.

She was a homemaker, and she was an avid gardener, who planted as many seeds in the spring as she possibly could. She loved flowers and animals.

Misty is survived by three children Kenneth Hiser, Zachery Green and Jewel Green, all of Murphysboro;

her parents of Murphysboro; her grandmother Eileen Hiser of Murphysboro

her very significant other Mark Decker of Murphysboro and his parents Joann and Mike Holzhausen of Salem, IL;

four sisters Candice (Jimmy) Francis of Carlisle, PA, Amanda (Josh) Geltz of Springfield, IL, Valerie Hiser of St. Louis, MO, and Kristina Hiser of Murphysboro;

three nieces and four nephews;

several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents Ray Hiser, and Joe and Wilma Porter.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday December 31, 2014, at Pettett Funeral Home with Rev. Rick McNeely officiating and burial at Tower Grove Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p. m. Tuesday and Wednesday until 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Hope Lodge in St. Louis, MO.
