There is a listing of Eva's family members described in the Bio section of the memorial page for her brother, Waino R. "Bud" Niemi (Memorial ID: 37721927).

Eva E. Young passed away at Sentara Hospital in Woodbridge, VA on June 7, 2018. She was 89 years old and had been living at Westminster at Lake Ridge Retirement Community since November 2013.
Eva was born in Paynesville, MI in 1929 and had eight siblings. Her parents had emigrated from Finland to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan in the first decade of the 1900s. She matriculated from Ewen High School and met her future husband, Rod Young, at the age of 17. They met at a Hunter's Ball in Bruce Crossing, MI where Rod was visiting from Lower Michigan and were married three years later. Eva and Rod were about to celebrate their 69th wedding anniversary.
Rod joined the US Forest Service in 1953 and Eva moved with him first to Oregon where they had their only child, Rod Lee, and then to five locations in the Midwest before moving to the DC headquarters for the first time. Another move was then made to Missouri before returning to the DC headquarters where they remained in the same house for 42 years in Faifax, VA until coming to Westminster.
Eva was an avid flower gardener and was a member of the Country Club View garden club. She and Rod were original members of Burke Presbyterian Church. Eva also worked for the US Department of Agriculture until deciding to concetrate on her home and local community. She was devoted to her husband and had a wide circle of friends.
Eva is survived by her husband, Rod, her son, Rod Lee, and his two children, Gillian and Spenser. Three of her siblings are also still alive and living in the Upper Peninsula.
A memorial service was held in the chapel at Westminster on June 18. Another memorial service will be held at the Shaftsburg United Methodist Church at 12821 South Warner Road, Perry MI 48872 on August 25 at 11am, followed by a meal at noon. Eva's remains will be interred at the family plot at the Wilsey Cemetery in Dewitt, MI around 2pm. A donation in the name of Eva can be made to the Shaftsburg United Methodist Church in lieu of flowers.
