Carol Ann (King) Hooper, 65, passed away June 18, 2021 with her family by her side. She was born April 5, 1956 in Syracuse, to George King and Eugenia (Patruno) Olivia. She attended Central Tech and graduated from OCC with an associate's degree in Criminal Justice. She was employed at Fallon and Fallon's Family Dentistry as a scheduling coordinator for the last decade. She resided in Camillus, NY for most of her life. Whether you called her Carol, Mom, Nana, Auntie, Nana Carol, or Sissy she was always everyone's favorite. She was a devoted Nana to her eight grandchildren, but regardless of the relationship all children (and dogs) sensed her love. She was endearing, took pride in her work, and at a moments notice drop everything to be by your side, unless SU had a basketball game-she bled Orange. She loved Halloween and Christmas but she decorated for every holiday. If there was a parade in town, she was there rain or shine. She will always be fondly remembered for her sass, wit, sense of humor, generosity and charm. Carol is survived by her mother Eugenia; sisters, Brenda Boicourt, Laura Olivia, Michele Olivia, and brother Patrick Olivia; Her children, Charla Forgham, Ericka Garcia, Nicole Summers and Michael Hooper. Her grandchildren, Austin DeLany, Stephen Forgham Jr., Victoria Forgham, Christian Garcia, Bella Correia, Kyle Conway, Isabel Garcia and Madilyn Hooper, and a great-grandson on the way. Special Thanks to Fallon and Fallon Family Dentistry for their generosity, love, support and for always treating our mother like family. Calling Hours will be held on Wednesday, June 23, 2021 from 4-6 pm at Burns-Garfield Funeral Home, 3175 E. Genesee St. Syracuse. A funeral service will follow at 6pm. Private family burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Warners. www.burnsgarfield.com
