Born in New York City, Michael was the son of the late Aron and Estelle (Paster) Dennis.
Michael served his country proudly as a Sailor in the Navy, during the Vietnam War.
He was employed as a Rigging Supervisor at Electric Boat in Groton, CT before his retirement.
In addition to his beloved NY Yankees, Michael enjoyed playing Billiards.
Besides his wife of 49 years, Michael is survived by his sons, Michael P. Dennis (Kim) and Christopher S. Dennis (Sarah), a sister, Michelle Dennis, and his grandchildren, Ly, Khoi, and Jenna Dennis. He was the brother of the late Fran Dennis.
Visitation was held on Wednesday in the Russell J. Boyle and Son Funeral Home, 142 Centerville Rd., Warwick, followed by burial with military honors at the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial in Exeter.
